Adriano: “I got drank at Inter’s training”

adrianointerAdriano, former player at Inter Milan, admitted in an interview with R7 and quoted by Gazzetta dello Sport, he left the Inter because the death of his father caused a strong depression of which the sole antidote was alcohol. Adriano says that he drinked so much that he was drunk at training team.

“After my father’s death, I had a depression that only managed to treat with alcohol. I was happy only when drinking alcohol, I never stop it. Go out every night and drank what I found: wine, whiskey, beer … more beer. Every day in training i was drank. I didn’t sleep for fear I wake up late, but finally I present in improper conditions and the sent me to sleep in the infirmary, while to journalists they told them that I have muscle problems “said Adriano.
Brazilian footballer told us  how the fracture occurred with the coach, Roberto Mancini: “I didn’t stop from drinking and all and the situation became unbearable, until I started to get into conflict with Mancini and I had to go away from Inter.”
Adriano, now playing at Flamengo, says it is pleased that he left Italy and therefore there is no regrets because he lost very good contract that have at Inter.
“People think it was crazy to give up my contract, but the truth is that there is no money to compensate the family disease. I gave up many millions, but I bought happiness.” said the player, who has terminated the contract with Inter six months ago.

Adriano checked 123 games for Internazionale and 48 goals scored.
